Family Business Leaders to Discuss
Strategic Acquisitions at Workshop May 17

What: Family business leaders can learn more about “Growing Your Family Company Through Strategic Acquisition: Maximizing the Rewards, Minimizing the Risks?” during a May 17 dinner meeting sponsored by Cal State Fullerton’s Family Business Council.
Who: Guest speakers are Robert W. Schult, managing director of the Shansby Group; and Margaret Shanley, director of transaction support, and Allen Suderman, managing director of transaction support tax, at RSM McGladrey.
When: 4-8 p.m. May 17

Additional: The Family Business Council, created in 1994 as part of the College of Business and Economics, is a partnership between the business community and the university. Its mission is to enhance the well-being and survivability of Southern California family businesses by providing opportunities for education, interaction and information tailored to the needs and concerns of business.
