Avoiding conflict and developing strong communication
within a family business will be discussed during a March
15 evening workshop sponsored by Cal State
Fullerton’s Family Business Council. |

The presentation will be made by Peter and Susan Glaser
of Glaser and Associates, who will provide participants
with tools for straight talk and sound
decisions, even in emotionally complex situations. |

The Family Business Council, created in 1994, is a partnership
between the business community and the university. Its
mission is to enhance the well-being and survivability
of Southern California family businesses by providing
opportunities for education, interaction and information
tailored to the needs and
concerns of family businesses. |

The council hosts monthly workshops on a wide range
of topics, including
“Entrepreneurship for
the Next Generation” in April and “An Evening
With the
Lawrence Welk Family – Keeping Music Alive in the
Family” in May. |

Free to first-time family business attendees interested
in becoming a member of the Family Business Council. Reservations
