Associated Students Honors Educators

Associated Students Inc. recently recognized eight faculty members who “have gone above and beyond teaching, serving as an inspiration, as a mentor and a role model to their students.” The honors were presented during the organization’s annual banquet last week.

Each honoree was nominated by a student on campus and the nominations were reviewed by the respective interclub councils, who make the final selection, said Jay L. Jefferson, ASI executive vice president. At the banquet, the nominating student joined the honored faculty member.
