Exploring College Opportunities

Welcome to Cal State Fullerton Day April 16

High school seniors, community college students and their families are invited to explore the educational opportunities of university life Saturday, April 16, during Welcome to Cal State Fullerton Day.

The free, public event features campus tours and a variety of workshops on such topics as financial aid, freshman programs, student housing and student orientation. Sessions tailored specifically for transfer students from community colleges, future teachers and graduate students also are scheduled.

Faculty members, administrators and staff members representing Cal State Fullerton’s eight colleges and various programs will be providing information and answering questions about their fields of study and areas of coordination.

Among the presentations scheduled are: a parent workshop, a workshop in Spanish, a veterans-focused workshop and a graduate studies forum.

Following the 8 a.m. check-in period near the Engineering and Computer Science lawn, activities begin at 8:30 a.m. Workshops will be held throughout the morning, along with a resource fair.

Registration is requested and can be completed online at the University Outreach website. For more information, call 657-278-2086 or email outreach@fullerton.edu.
