Homecoming 2011

Titans of all ages are invited to show their university spirit during Cal State Fullerton homecoming festivities Saturday, Feb. 5. The action begins with a 3 p.m. tailgate party in front of Titan Gym followed by a basketball match up between the Titans and UC Riverside’s Highlanders at 6 p.m.

During the tailgate party, varsity band, spirit squad and dance team will perform to rally the Titans, who can take part in a basketball toss game, have their pictures taken in a photo booth, their face painted, be memorialized by a caricaturist, watch balloons become animals and flowers and meet Tuffy Titan and the GEICO gecko. Campus tours will be offered and Titan Shops will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. so alumni can purchase that special Titan shirt or hat.

The Alumni Association offers a $20 Titan Package that includes an In-N-Out hamburger, cheeseburger or grilled cheese sandwich (plus a soda and chips), commemorative Homecoming 2011 T-shirt and general admission game ticket. Packages for children under age 10 are available for $10 (grilled cheese option only).

Season ticket holders may purchase the package above for $15; student reserved packages are $10 per person and include not only a meal but commemorative T-shirt. Preregistration required and can be made online.

The first 275 students at the tailgate party (with valid Titan ID) will receive a free In-N-Out meal courtesy of Associated Students. Students are not charged to attend sporting events when they present a valid Titan ID).
