Accolades for Campus Volunteers
President and Other Officials Honor Efforts Benefiting University
Cal State Fullerton recently hosted a very special luncheon in which the efforts of its campus volunteers were recognized. Representatives of each campus support group attended the function where President Milton A. Gordon thanked their efforts to help the campus meet its goals of educating students.
“It is an honor to be here today to recognize the volunteers of the year for 2009-10 academic year. Volunteerism is an attribute that we encourage among our students here at Cal State Fullerton,” said Gordon. “It is our hope that, after they graduate from this institution, our students will follow the examples set by the outstanding volunteers that are here today. Your efforts directly contribute to the success of our students and the success of our programs. For this, we are truly appreciative.”
