Spread Holiday Cheer
Donations Sought for Camp Titan Toy Drive
Camp Titan, the philanthropy of Associated Students, Inc., has kicked off its annual Toy Drive donation drive to benefit underprivileged children in Orange County. The drive continues through Dec. 9.
“The Titan Toy Drive is a chance for students and other members of the Cal State Fullerton campus community to give back this holiday season,” said Anthony Padilla, Camp Titan co-director of camper management. “It’s heartwarming to see children and their families so happy because of the generous contributions of the Cal State Fullerton community.”
Students, faculty and staff members, as well as campus guests, are encouraged to select a child’s name from the Titan Toy Drive Train, located in the lobby of the Titan Student Union, and purchase an age-appropriate gift or gift card for the child’s name selected. Unwrapped gift donations must be dropped off at the information and services desk; monetary donations will be accepted and used to buy gifts.
Camp Titan student organizers will distribute gift donations at a holiday party in mid-December.
Camp Titan is an American Camping Association-accredited camp funded through student fees, Greek Week activities and private donations. For more information about the toy drive, visit asi.fullerton.edu or call 657-278-2468.
