Showcase University’s Offerings

More than 1,800 high school
students, their friends and families are expected to visit Cal State
Fullerton Saturday, April 10, for the 11th annual “Welcome
to Cal State Fullerton Day.”
From 9 a.m.- noon in the campus Quad, visitors will
take tours, attend workshops and meet with campus staff and faculty
members.
“This is a chance for high school seniors who
have been admitted for the 2004-05 academic year, as well as other
prospective students, to see what our campus has to offer,”
said Shaida Kafe-ee of University Outreach and the event’s
coordinator.
University administrators from more than 20 student
services offices and faculty members from the university’s
seven colleges will be on hand to answer questions. Students also
may attend workshops on financial aid, the University Honors and
Scholars Program, Freshman Programs and registration requirements.
In addition, students can meet with representatives
from campus clubs and organizations, and tours of the campus will
be conducted every half-hour. Tours of the residence halls are scheduled
from 9-11:30 a.m.
