It’s Engineering Students vs.
Professors In Impromptu Mystery Design Contest
Who: |
A team of Cal State Fullerton mechanical engineering
students will compete against a team of mechanical engineering
professors in an Impromptu Design Competition. |

When: |
10 a.m. – noon Friday, Nov. 14 |

Where: |
Engineering Quad |

Challenge: |
The mission for each team is to design and build
a device about twice the size of a shoebox in one hour. When
the event begins, both teams will be provided with materials
and a description of the device needed. It will be a mystery
until then, as no advance instructions will be given. After
an hour of designing and building, competition between the two
teams’ devices will begin. The devices will be required
to accomplish specified tasks. A panel of judges will determine
the winner. |
