Presidential Debate

What: California State University, Fullerton viewing party for the third presidential debate, sponsored by the Associated Students Inc. (ASI).
   
Who: Campus student leaders, including ASI President Philip Vasquez and ASI Vice President Mona Mohammadi, students and members of the campus community

Background: The first presidential debate televised on our campus drew a large crowd of more than 100 students to our viewing party. With both political parties running heavy voter registration campaigns on university campuses across the country, Cal State Fullerton students have been highly encouraged to make their voices heard and to make their vote count on Nov. 2.
   
News Interest: The first presidential debate proved to be an important event for our divided country. At California State University, Fullerton, students have a vested interest in the elections and reflect the diversity in our nation’s voters. The debates will be aired in conjunction with Voter Mobilization Week, sponsored by the Associated Students Inc. Refreshments will be provided.
   
Photo Opportunities: Capture students as they view the debate on two big screen TVs and engage one another in discussion regarding the upcoming presidential elections. Student leaders will be on hand to answers questions and will be available for interviews.
