Two-and Three-Dimenional Views: |
Prominent in the show is the Protein Data
Bank’s traveling “Art of Science” exhibit
with depictions of collagen, protein molscript images, and
a variety of art and text from the PDB’s Molecule of
the Month series, featuring works by David Goodsell of Scripps
Research Institute.
Also from Goodsell and Scripps’ Arthur J. Olson are
3-D models of DNA, backbone structure of HIV-1 protease, polio
virus capsid, the digestive enzyme chymotrypsin and others.
In addition, objects from the Cal State Fullerton Keck Center
for Molecular Structure are on display, including an older
generation X-ray camera with accessories, images and text
explaining crystallography. |
