Director Cindy Bourquin began singing at the age of
three, and her first performance followed soon after at a local
coffee house. Since, she has studied with great educators including
Phil Mattson, Paris Rutherford, Henry “Hal” Gibbons,
Ron McCurdy and Robert Edwards. She graduated from the University
of North Texas, and then attended graduate school at the University
of Minnesota. She is an active studio singer and can be heard on
movie scores (including Galaxy Quest, Meet the Parents and Jungle
Book II), commercials and theme park music. Bourquin is currently
working on a recording of original songs, and directing the vocal
jazz ensembles.
