Business owners, managers and other key personnel can learn new skills and techniques to enhance corporate performance and growth at “Power Up to the Next Level,” an Oct. 23 executive management workshop at Cal State Fullerton.

The 1:30 to 9:30 p.m. program will cover small business financing, leadership development, employee recruitment and retention, branding, customer relationship management, and e-marketing strategies.

A joint offering from Cal State Fullerton’s colleges of Business and Economics and Communications and the Asian Business Association of Orange County, the daylong event will be held in the Titan Student Union. Cost is $75 per person and includes dinner. Participants will also receive a free 12-month membership in the Asian Business Association of Orange County.

“We are excited to offer a program designed for business owners, executives and managers,” said Fred Zandpour and Mark Stohs, associate deans of the colleges of Communications and Business and Economics. “By partnering with the Asian Business Association of Orange County and Citibank, we hope to be able to extend our reach to the community. Our goal is to assist entrepreneurs by providing them with modern, best-practice management approaches, real-world applications and the skills to take their businesses to the next level.”
