Cal State Fullerton Hosts Human Nature Speaker Series April 16
Anthropologist to discuss evolution of 70-year life span.

What/Who: The third annual Human Nature Speaker Series at Cal State Fullerton features Hillard S. Kaplan, professor of anthropology at the University of New Mexico. His topic is “The Human Adaptive Complex and the Aging Process: Evolution of the 70-Year Life Span.” The event is free and open to the public.

More: Kaplan’s research focuses on evolutionary ecology, subsistence behavior, sex roles, and hunters and gatherers in South America and Africa. He examines the health, longevity and social support and exchange among the Tsimane of Bolivia.
