CSUF Economic Forecast Set to Discuss:
What Does 2007 Hold for Orange County?

What:

Rising costs for gas, power and building materials, a slowdown in real estate in Southern California and a slowing national economy will be among the many issues discussed Thursday, Oct. 26, during the 2006 Economic Forecast Conference presented by Cal State Fullerton’s College of Business and Economics and the Orange County Business Council.

When:

Thursday, Oct. 26
11 a.m. registration followed by lunch and program

Where:

Hyatt Regency Irvine, 17900 Jamboree Rd., Irvine

Speakers:

Anil K. Puri, dean of Cal State Fullerton’s College of Business and Economics and co-director of the university’s Institute for Economic and Environmental Studies, will present his 12th annual forecast. Joining Puri at the podium will be Richard K. Davis, president and chief operations officer of U.S. Bancorp and a CSUF alumnus (B.A. economics ’83). Davis will become Bancorp’s chief executive officer Dec. 12.

Cost:

$90 per person. Tables of 10 are available for $750 and $1,250.
