Close to 500 people, primarily students, are expected
to attend the event. Participants are encouraged to ask
questions of a panel of experts led by Kandy Mink Salas,
dean of students at Cal State Fullerton. Other panel
members will include representatives from the Fullerton
Police Department and Alcohol Beverage Control, as well
as various community organizations and students. |

| Background: |
The event is a follow-up to a similar town hall held
in Fullerton in April that was sponsored by Community
Service Programs Inc.’s Project PATH (Positive
Action Toward Health). “Members of CSUF’s
Interfraternity Council attended that event and suggested
the campus discuss alcohol issues in a town hall format,” said
Brie Roumeliotis, a health educator for the university’s
Student Health and Counseling Center. |
