The Rwandan native will recount what it was like
in 1994, when she and seven other women spent 91 days
hiding in a neighbor’s bathroom to avoid the
violence that resulted in the deaths of members of
their families. Four years after the massacres, Ilibagiza
immigrated to the United States, where she eventually
became a member of the United Nations Development Program
and established the Left to Tell Charitable Fund. |
