William Haddad, CSUF chair and professor of history, will discuss "Sanctions as Siege Warfare." Don Matthewson, CSUF lecturer in political science, will present "Thucydides in Iraq: What the Peloponnesian War Tells Us About the Perils of Empire," and Mateo Farzaneh, a graduate student studying history at UC Santa Barbara, is set to explore "Iraq: A Majority Shiite Nation." Touraj Daryaee, CSUF associate professor of history, will moderate the event. |
