Sports, swim and gymnastics programs available this summer

May 27, 2005

Looking to give your children a college experience this summer? Introduce them to new sports, creative activities and friends at Rec Sports’ summer youth camps. Rec Sports, a program of the Titan Student Union at Cal State Fullerton, offers three different youth programs during the summer to children in kindergarten through eighth grade: Titan Youth Sports Camp, Learn to Swim and Titan Youth Gymnastics Camp.

Titan Youth Sports Camp consists of eight, back-to-back, one-week sessions and runs June 20 – Aug. 12. The Learn to Swim water instruction and safety program is certified by the American Red Cross for children 6 months and older and consists of two-week sessions offered June 20 – Aug. 12. Titan Youth Gymnastics Camp is a weeklong, full day gymnastics camp for boys and girls ages 5 to 14 and is offered Aug. 15 – 19.

Campers in Titan Youth Sports Camp will enjoy a morning snack, hot lunch and an afternoon snack each day. Extended child care options are available from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and 5 to 6:30 p.m. to offer additional flexibility for families.

Online registration is available for all summer youth programs. For more information on Rec Sports summer youth programs at Cal State Fullerton, call 657-278-PLAY or visit the website at http://tysc.fullerton.edu
