Holiday Event at Tucker Wildlife
Sanctuary
The 2005 Holiday Event at Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary
will celebrate the season Saturday, Dec. 3 ,
from 10 a.m. 3 p.m. with music, tours, crafters and refreshments.
The event is open to the public free of charge. Also that
day, a workshop on "Planting and Caring for Native Plants" will
be offered from 10:15 a.m.-noon by Birkin Newell, naturalist
and restoration ecologist who serves as on-site manger of
the popular facility. The workshop is $5 per person and free
to members. The 12-acre nature preserve in Modjeska Canyon
is operated by Cal State Fullerton. For more information,

Camp Titan Holiday Toy Drive Welcomes Gifts
Donations are being accepted through Friday, Dec.
9 , for the annual Camp Titan Holiday Toy Drive
to benefit underprivileged children in Orange County .
Unwrapped toys may be brought to the Titan Student Union's
Information & Services Desk until noon Dec. 9. Donated
gifts will be distributed by Camp Titan student organizers
at a holiday party in December. Givers may select the names
of recipients, identified by age, from a display in the
center lobby. The toy drive is conducted by the Associated
Students Inc. of Cal State Fullerton. Additional information

Women's Center Collecting Holiday Gifts for Local
Families
Cal State Fullerton's Women's Center
is sponsoring an "Adopt
a Family" program for the holiday season. The center is collecting
gifts through Dec. 12 for needy families.
Wish lists for the program's families may be obtained from
the Women's Center at 657-278-3928 or in University Hall
Room 205.
