The League of Women Voters of North Orange County is
partnering with Cal State Fullerton to present the public
forum “California’s Complex School Funding
— Proposition 76: Help or Hindrance.” |
When: |
Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. |
Who: |
Louise Adler, chair of educational
leadership at CSUF, will explain how school funding is
allocated. Rick Pratt, assistant executive
director of government relations for the California School
Boards Association, will speak against Prop 76, and a
representative from the Governor’s Coalition to
Reform and Rebuild California will speak in favor of the
measure. Don Matthewson, CSUF political
science lecturer, will serve as moderator. |

The community education forum is supported by the League
of Women Voters of California Education Fund through a
grant from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. |
Parking: |
For this event, attendees may park free of charge at
Troy High School on State College Boulevard across from
the university, or for $5 at the Nutwood Parking structure
on the CSUF campus. |
