“The Legacy of Cesar Chavez,”
a free presentation to honor the late leader of the United
Farm Workers of America, will be held tomorrow at Cal
State Fullerton. The program will focus on Chavez’s
work in civil rights and, in particular, with farm workers. |

Speaker: |
Christine Chavez, Southern California political director
for the United Farm Workers of America and the granddaughter
of Chavez, will be the featured speaker. Every year, she
oversees the annual Cesar Chavez Walk, which attracts
more than 10,000 people who gather to honor the legacy
of the late labor leader. |

In addition to the guest speaker, a photo exhibit by
Oscar Castillo, “Cesar E. Chavez: The Struggle Continues,”
is on display in the university’s Chapman Atrium
gallery in the Titan Student Union. For more information,
