’81), managing partner of the Orange County office
of KPMG, LLP and partner-in-charge of the office’s
audit practice Daniel P. Hann
(B.A. economics ’77), senior vice president, general
counsel and secretary for Biomet Inc. of Warsaw, Ind.
K.P. “Bala” Balkrishna
(M.B.A. ’78), president and CEO of Commercial Bank
of California |
Why: |
“We honor these individuals for their business
accomplishments and achievements,” said Joni Norby,
assistant dean of the College of Business and Economics.
“This event is an excellent opportunity for the
honorees to serve as important role models for our students
and to keep in touch with the college. Our faculty and
students benefit tremendously from staying connected with
the business world and its most successful leaders.” |
Additional: |
The executives will teach classes, and meet with students
and faculty members to discuss their background, experience
and the skills necessary for success. The three will be
honored at a luncheon. |
